Hidden Coves brings golfers closer to what is real; land, sea, mountains and the game. Nestled between natural coves where the Red Sea meets the desert mountains, the course unfolds as a journey rather than a layout. Each fairway flows with the land’s original contours, each hole reveals itself gradually and every moment draws players deeper into a coastline that feels untouched, cinematic and profoundly calming.

Designed by Lobb & Partners, this new 18-hole championship course is carved directly into a dramatic coastal landscape. Hidden Coves embraces the terrain instead of overpowering it; the land leads, golf follows, resulting in a playing experience that feels both intimate and expansive.

This is golf in its purest form: calm, intimate, cinematic.

The course behaves like the coves that inspired it, protective and serene in the beginning, gradually opening to breathtaking drama. The routing intentionally starts with holes nestled between gentle landforms (Holes 1–11), sheltering players from coastal winds and guiding them along soft, flowing fairways that encourage shot making over power. Every hole reveals itself slowly, creating “wow moments” as views to the sea and mountains appear, disappear and reappear between natural corridors.

Holes 12–17 spill directly toward the Red Sea, offering uninterrupted panoramic views of turquoise water, rugged cliffs and the vast desert mountains. Waves become part of the soundtrack. Silence becomes part of the focus. Nature becomes part of the game.

Hidden Coves was designed to be one of the most playable and welcoming modern courses in the region; a course that families, beginners and seasoned golfers can enjoy together. There is virtually no rough on the entire course. Instead, ornamental native grasslands frame each hole, blending seamlessly into the surrounding environment. The fairways flow like ribbons. The greens are receptive. The course rewards strategy, creativity, and emotional presence.

Hidden Coves is the first of its kind, a golf course conceived, designed and operated with sustainability at its core. The course is shaped entirely by the land itself, with minimal earth movement to preserve the natural terrain. Pure Dynasty Paspalum turfgrass was selected for its low water and fertilizer requirements, while the surrounding landforms naturally shield the course from wind, eliminating the need for invasive landscaping. By protecting the existing coves and ecosystems, Hidden Coves allows the desert and sea environments to coexist in their natural state, ensuring that every round of golf is played in harmony with nature.
